The Larson Ranch horse program has been an integral part of their operation since the ranch was homesteaded. Raising horses is extremely important to the Larson family as horses are a necessity in the handling of the cattle operation. The Larson family's current stallion is AHL Firewater N Ice (Shilo) who is currently performing in barrels and roping, as well as being used on the ranch. He is a beautiful palomino stud with a fantastic demeanor and outstanding conformation.

AHL Firewater N Ice is a full brother to AHL Codysgolden Jets and AHL Firewater Twister, both accomplished and consistent winners in barrels and poles, as well as competing in high school rodeo events. His sire Firewater Jets is a full brother to barrel money earner FIREWATER SQUAW, proven Brazilian AQHA stallions, FIREWATER FAST and STRAIT FIRE WATER, as well as futurity money earner TALLDRINKOFWATER. His dam HL Top Doc Cody is a granddaughter of AQHA World Champion TOPSAIL CODY, Million Dollar NRHA Stallion and sire of Topsail Whiz, NRHA 9 Million Dollar Sire.
